With Mother's Day around the corner, it is a wonderful opportunity for us to share why we work at the intersection of fashion, craft & "sisterhood".
Nearly 90% of our artisan partners work exclusively with women, many of whom are mothers. Offering work spaces that honour their role, offer growth and financial stability creates generational impact which we are very proud of. Here are some reasons why this matters:

All women-led, women-benefitting artisan partners offer the ability to work from home, which is ideal for mothers who may have childcare responsibilities. This allows them to balance their work and family responsibilities while earning an income.

Our artisan partners are invested in women's growth & skill development, thereby increasing their self-confidence and self-esteem. This has a positive impact on their mental health and well-being.
3. Financial stability with generational impact
All our artisan partners provide a monthly salary to their team. This isn't always the case as many small craft organizations only compensate on per piece model. Having a stable source of income helps improve their financial situation, provides a better quality of life for their children, and overall, breaks the cycle of poverty for generations.
